Why hire a pet sitter?

A pet sitter—a professional, qualified individual paid to care for your pet—offers both you and your pet many benefits.

Your pet gets:

  • The environment he knows best.
  • His regular diet and routine.
  • Relief from traveling to and staying in an unfamiliar place with other animals (such as a boarding kennel).
  • Attention while you're away.

You get:

Happier friends and neighbors, who aren't burdened with caring for your pet.

  • The peace of mind that comes from knowing that your pet is being cared for by a professional.
  • Someone to bring in your newspaper and mail so potential burglars don't know you're away.
  • Someone who will come to your home so you don't have to drive your pet to a boarding kennel.
  • Other services provided by most pet sitters, such as plant watering and pet grooming.

Dog of the week

This is Spencer, my first dog and he is always the dog of the week! Unless I am loving up your dog of course :) Spencer and I attended agility training and even met Cesar Milan! He loves people and learned great walking manners (Cesar style!)

         Training for Dogs
Does your dog need to work on manners during walks?
I can help your dog aquire the skills needed to take peaceful walks. Dogs need to know who the pack leader is and what is expected of them during walks. Taking your dog on disciplined walks means reducing your dogs anxiety behaviors (like chewing, barking, etc) and they will be better mannered in the house as well!

Cat of the week

This is Roxxy on her fancy cat condo. Roxxy is a 5 year old tabby who loves to be brushed! Roxxy also likes batting toy mousies around the house and will even consider fetching at times :) She lives with another cat and small dog in south Minneapolis.
